Lee Silver, Ph.D., Department of Molecular Biology, Princeton University

Lee M. Silver is a professor at Princeton University in the Departments of Molecular Biology, and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and the Program in Neuroscience. He received bachelor's and master's degrees in Physics from the University of Pennsylvania and a doctorate in biophysics from Harvard University. He conducts research in mammalian genetics, evolution, reproduction, and developmental biology, with a current focus on behavioral genetics. He is an editor-in-chief of "Mammalian Genome," the official journal of the International Mammalian Genome Society. Dr. Silver is the author of "Mouse Genetics: Concepts and Applications," published in 1995 by Oxford University Press, and "REMAKING EDEN: Cloning and Beyond in a Brave New World," published in 1997 by Avon Books in the United States, and in 1998 by Weidenfeld & Nicolson in the United Kingdom.
