from the central Sierra Nevada to Alaska to the Russian Far East, and farther

Resource Assessment Project.

during a September 2004 NE Asia Project meeting. The yacht captain, after
learning of Warren’s four years at sea as a USN Line Officer (and having also
owned a racing sailboat) had him man the helm.)
Larry Patzkowski (AB ‘61)
Worked for the Pacific Gas and Electric Company . . . believed never to have
practiced as a geologist.
Gordon Pine (AB ‘61)
Went on for his PhD in geology at the University of Arizona . . . spent about
20 years working for several companies in metals exploration . . . most
recently a geologist for the Bureau of Land Management and National Park
Service.
